The World of Outlaw is an auto racing sanctioning organization based in Ohio. The organization sanctions two premier national touring series, the Nationwide Series and the Truck Series. It is also known for sanctioning a regional touring series of drag cars called the World of Dirt Cars. The organization sponsors several of the top stock car teams as well.
One of the most successful teams in the World of Outlaw is Tony Schumacher Racing. This team's driver, Marco Andretti, has won several of the top national touring races, including the Coca Cola 600 at Daytona. He is also one of the fastest drivers on the circuit.
World of Outlaw racing began when a group of drivers were invited by NASCAR to compete in the championship series. Although it was only a small league, it soon developed into one of the most popular series in the country. The popularity of the series was increased due to the fact that it used many new and innovative parts and technologies that other auto racing teams had not been using for some time. However, even though the series was gaining popularity, the team itself struggled for years.
The World of Dirt Cars (TWD) was the second premier series sanctioned by the organization. It uses drag car racing equipment and engines that are very similar to those found in stock car racing, but with much more horsepower and power. The teams that participate in this series are much smaller and often have only a handful of vehicles running on a regular basis. The teams often win some of the smaller regional touring events, but they have not been able to compete in the national touring events that are sponsored by the NASCAR series.
Tony Schumacher Racing is one of the most successful teams in the World of Outlaw series. This team sponsors two cars in the Nationwide Series and four in the TWD division. They are one of the fastest teams in the country, having won numerous of the top national touring events. Although they are one of the fastest, they do have a lot of competition. Teams from all over the country are racing against them and many have been able to bring home a victory.
World of Outlaw racing has been extremely popular for a long time and has a number of loyal fans that continue to race each year. If you are looking for a great racing experience and want to participate in a unique racing competition that is a bit different than most auto racing events, the World of Outlaw is a great place to start.
