The Bugatti Vision GT is going to be a new creation for this season of the superior class. As the name suggests, it's a replacement for last year's high-performance Bugatti Veyron, but is the car actually any different? In fact, there are a few things to look out for that indicate this will be a very different vehicle than what we saw last year.
The original one-off Bugatti Veyron concept car, the one-of-a-kind Bugatti Vision GT, has already had its life cut short thanks to a crash during testing. This new concept was only recently released, and as such is not yet ready to hit the streets, so we won't be seeing this in the flesh before next year.
The one thing that has been confirmed about this Bugatti is that it will use the same engine as the Veyron, which is a hybrid system that combines two separate gases. While this is not entirely new technology, it is not the kind of system that most people think of when they hear hybrid. It is however, a pretty big departure from the way we have traditionally seen fuel injected engines in the past.
In fact, even the most basic of cars will still benefit from this. When you use two different fuels in the same engine, you'll end up with better fuel efficiency. Since this system is supposed to work at the wheels, you can expect to see improvements in how quickly your engine consumes gas, as well as how much you waste, because your fuel consumption will be better balanced.
These upgrades will be present on the Bugatti Vision GTC as well and will likely be much better and more advanced than the ones that are found on the current production cars. For example, we can expect more power from the car's twin turbochargers, better cooling for the engine, and a bigger, lighter chassis.
The Bugatti Vision GT is still a long ways away from being released on the streets, but with all the changes that are coming it is likely that this year's supercar will be able to compete with the very best of them. What's more, it should be able to perform well enough to give them some serious trouble.
With the engine and chassis upgrades coming to the Bugatti Vision GT, we could see gains of around ten percent in power, as well as an improvement in both the speed and handling of the car. It is possible that this could be the most powerful road car to ever make it to production – and it's definitely one of the most powerful and fastest.
Even if this doesn't happen this year, it is likely that the Bugatti Vision GT will end up being a huge hit among sports car enthusiasts. The amount of money that it will cost to have this one built, and launched, along with all of the advertising expenses that it will need, will be impressive to say the least.
