The Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport was initially created by Romano Artioli in the early 1990s. The name was a combination of both the names of the two main creators, Artioli and Bugatti. While Bugatti were the initials for Ettore Bugatti's name, EB stands for Romano Artioli.
Artioli was known for being passionate about cars and was always looking to improve on the existing designs. In the early 1990s he decided to take on the task of creating the most powerful racing automobile possible.
This is the reason why Artioli chose to create the Bugatti Eb110, which was actually a smaller version of the Ferrari FF. The concept of this car was to be able to make it as powerful as possible by using engines of up to 600 horsepower.
The EB took its inspiration from the original Bugatti Type 57, which was a very fast and powerful car in its day. It also borrowed its appearance from some contemporary supercars such as the Ferrari F40, which was a major inspiration for the creation of the Bugatti Eb110.
Bugatti actually began development of the car around the same time that it released the concept for the FF. Romano Artioli designed the car with an eye towards being able to compete with some of the major superiors in the market place. The reason why he chose to build it at a much lower production count was to allow him to produce an extremely powerful car. The EB was actually produced on a small scale, which allowed Artioli to produce a car that was actually faster than many supercars on the road today.
Some of the features that were incorporated into the Bugatti EB were a high-mounted radiator, the inclusion of two independent exhaust systems, the addition of three-point seat belts and the use of airbags in the front and side seats. All of these features help to enhance the speed of the car. Despite the fact that the Bugatti E 110 Super Sport actually had a slightly lower production count, it actually managed to break the production record of the F40, which is the most powerful car on the road today's market today.
Although the Bugatti Eb110 is now considered one of the most powerful vehicles on the road today, it was actually not the first car that Artioli designed. As a matter of fact, this was his second supercar, which he designed after the Bugatti E 42 that was so successful that it still drives on today's roads.
Bugatti also created the BSC, which is the Super Sport Coupe version of the E 110. The BSC was based on the E 42 but featured some extra features including a shorter hood, shorter rear wing and a slightly different suspension system.
There 110 was designed to be sold with two options, which are the Type A and Type B. The Type A version of this supercar was meant for people who were not interested in adding any extras to their car. The Type B however, featured a more powerful engine and featured a turbo kit, which made it significantly faster.
